Modern Warfare 2 Patches Released

January 31st, 2010 by admin No comments »

As some of you may know, there was a negative XP hack for both the Xbox 360 and the PS3. Infinity Ward finally took the time to stop swimming in the revenue money and actually let their programmers put out a patch that fixes up everything. The only thing I hate about the new patch is that the Akimbo Model 1887′s with FMJ now don’t have a longer range like before. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 Xbox 360 Beta

January 31st, 2010 by admin No comments »

Last week, the Battlefield Bad Company 2 beta was officially released for Xbox 360 users in the US. While I’ve already been playing it on my PS3, I can definitely say that this game has made some MAJOR improvements from the original game, Battlefield Bad Company.  Be ready for the full release of the game March 2. If it’s anything like the first one in terms of campaign mode, I’ll definitely be picking up the game and playing it. Especially since there’s been a huge number of campers on Modern Warfare 2.

Mass Effect Sales Reach 2 Million – First Week

January 31st, 2010 by admin No comments »

This isn’t too much of a surprise to many Xbox 360 gamers, but Mass Effect 2 has sold over two million copies in it’s first week. Even though the sales couldn’t even compare to the record sales for the Modern Warfare 2, Mass Effect 2 has still surprised many people in it’s sales. That’s including me as well. The co-founder of BioWare has said “Mass Effect 2 is poised to be one of the biggest games of 2010.” While many are still going to buy the game, I’m more excited to find out what they’re going to be releasing next. Yes, I’m wondering that in the first week of the game being out in stories.

Modern Warfare 2 Negative XP Hack?

January 24th, 2010 by admin No comments »

A YouTube video has been released showing a new Modern Warfare 2 hack. Whenever you kill someone, you receive  -5,000,000 XP per kill. The hack has only been shown on the Xbox 360 and it’s yet to be on the PS3. Maybe Infinity Ward could stop swimming in a pool of profit money from the games sales and actually try to fix the glitch in time before users start abusing the hack once it’s available. I’m not going to lie, this hack looks pretty fun for a Private Match.

Rock Band Network Beta Open

January 24th, 2010 by admin No comments »

On January 20th, MTV Games has announced that the Rock Band Network Beta has now been opened. With millions of users playing the game and thousands that are addicted to it, it’ll definitely bring more people into buying the game. With the Rock Band Network opening, this’ll give artists an opportunity to release songs that they’ve created on the game itself. I can admit to wanting to have a network back when Guitar Hero 3 was released.  If a new songs has been approved, the artist can earn up to 30% of all profits made from sales of that song.  The store will be available soon and I’ll keep you guys updated.

2D Mario Sells More Than 3D Mario

January 24th, 2010 by admin No comments »

In almost two months, New Super Mario Bros. Wii has sold over 4.2 million units. That means that New Super Mario Bros. has sold more than Mario Galaxy, which critics deem as the best Wii game of all time. It’s still up to the gamer to decide which game they like more, but by looking at the sales, it’s obvious. The 2D version of Super Mario Bros. on the Wii has definitely become more popular then the 3D version. The sales are almost equivalent in the first 40 Days that New Super Mario Wii. was released.  I still prefer the 2D version considering I grew up playing the game on my Game Boy.

New Tony Hawk Project?

January 24th, 2010 by admin No comments »

According to his Twitter, Tony Hawk said that he was going to meet the same developers that created the revolutionary game, Tony Hawk Ride. While we don’t really have too much information on what’s next, he stated that it was “better than I expected”.  If it’s anything like his game Tony Hawk Ride, I’m sure it’ll be a hit amongst the skateboarding community of gamers. You can read the status here or actually @reply him and hope he’ll reveal more information. Even though it’s highly unlikely that we’re going to hear much about it soon, I’m sure that in the next few months it’ll be leaked onto major websites like IGN, GameSpot, etc…

Tiger Woods Will Still Be EA’s Cover Athlete

January 24th, 2010 by admin No comments »

Regardless of what’s happening to Tiger Woods with the media, EA has announced that they’re going to keep Tiger Woods as their cover athlete and they still be will be releasing his video games. Amongst losing many of his million dollar sponsorships, it’s nice to know that he’s going to at least keep his EA video game series going.

His new video game, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 is set to release later this year. Who knows how many people are going to be buying his game since he he’s been having too much conflict with the media for his misbehavior.
